Grab Rail and Handrail Installation in Wahroonga

Freedom Building Construction recently carried out a targeted home modification in Wahroonga, Sydney, funded under the Support at Home program. The project involved fitting functional fixtures across both indoor and outdoor areas of the property.

Shower Cubicle Modifications

Inside the bathroom, a 300mm stainless steel grab bar was supplied and installed directly into the tiled shower cubicle. Mounting a grab rail in this wet area provides additional support during daily showering routines.

External Handrail Installation

To assist movement along the outdoor brick steps, our team installed a freestanding 50.8mm diameter stainless steel handrail. The positioning and construction followed the exact recommendations outlined in the Occupational Therapist report.
